The biggest difference between medical and other businesses is the fact that patient in many cases, has no experience with the particular service before, as well as in many cases, will not have that experience in the future. In other words, many procedures are performed only once in a lifetime, thus making the patient (customer) unable to have adequate expectations before and after, i.e., he is not able to evaluate the quality of the service.
